Highland Capital Management Supports the Bush Institute
Public Programs at the Bush Center are sustained in part by generous donations from James Dondero, President and co-founder of Highland Capital Management, LP. Through a $10 million endowment that was announced in early 2018, Highland is supporting the Bush Center’s series of public programs entitled “Engage at the Bush Center, presented by Highland Capital Management.”
Highland has already bestowed over $5 million to the Bush Center, beginning before its 2013 opening. It is among the founding benefactors that supported construction of the facilities. Through the recent endowment gift, the Dallas-based company will sponsor the various events held as part of the Engage series each year, including an annual “Highland Capital Lecture.”
The popular Engage series has attracted sellout crowds in the past and been an important pillar of the Bush Center’s Engagement Agenda since 2015. Furthering Highland’s commitment to the Bush Center, Dondero will also join the executive advisory council at the Bush Institute.
